Music Means Every Thing

I read an artical that made me think about music and what it means as a whole. Stuff like where is it going, what do we learn from it, why do we like what we like, and the most important question what makes good music good music. now you could base the "best" music on how many people listen to it.. but in my eyes thats not true cause then people who use a name to get there music heard are the best.. i dont think so!! I mean yeah big names like Lil Wayne and Eminem are amazing maybe the best but i wouldn't say there newest stuff is the best!! Now to me you base the goodness of a song on how it makes you feel, how it reflexs your life.. artist like Mac Miller does an amazing job on releting on what im going thru and what i want out of life. There are also those songs out there like Just my imagination that are all about extras in every day life.. that celebrity life.. where you have everyhing you could ever want. Another song is Vision the Kids Lost Summer.. Where life isnt what you wanted which i dont know about you guys but isnt that everybodys life is.. you belive you should have so much more..? so you just listen and go yeah i feel ya!! Then there are those songs that just help in everyday life.. songs that make you happy no matter whats going on or songs that just add to everything your doing.. Mike Posner just put out a mixtape that after ever title says things that you should do while listing to that song.. Example Drive to this Vibe to this and the confusing one pull a bad bitch to this!! anyway you all know those songs that do that for you!! so with all that said maybe we shouldnt judge music it all has a meaning to some one and maybe at one point youll need that song you hate to get you through a speed bump in life.. so go out look at music in a new life and enjoy it all!! and becouse this is a local artist spotlight blog try some local artist they can be the best music youve ever felt too.. @visionthekid youve changed me thanks so much!!
